Speaking has always been part of how I build momentum around ideas. I focus on making complex things clear, grounding possibility in human reality, and helping people see a path forward.

01
Oracle AI World UX Keynote
Oracle AI World · Las Vegas · 2026 · Upcoming
An upcoming keynote exploring the evolution from UX to AX and what it means for the future of experience.
02
What changes, what endures, and what’s the way forward for UX as a discipline?
AI UX Day · Oracle · Design community, 1,000+ · 2026
After setting the larger context for how UX as a discipline needs to evolve in the age of AI, I focused on five practical explorations for UX Research: grounding what we build in the problems of today; designing AI with guardrails for safety and accessibility; defining new human–AI interaction patterns; defining and measuring what “good” means at AI scale; and holding ourselves accountable to whether people use what we build and come back to it.
03
The value of human insight in the age of AI
UXR Guild · Research Leaders Forum · UX Research leaders · June 2026
As AI changes how research is conducted and products are built, I argued for being bullish about human insight while letting go of our attachment to legacy research artifacts. Our methods and tools need to evolve with the questions we’re being asked — without losing the rigor, judgment, context, and nuance that make research valuable. The opportunity is to move beyond reports and readouts and become a more active part of how products are envisioned and built — specifically, turning accumulated knowledge into a living system that continuously informs what we build and why.
04
What it takes to turn an idea into an organizational capability
Oracle Design Week · Oracle Design community · 2025
The story of building Oracle’s product intelligence capability from zero to one — through a credible vision, experimentation and iteration, persistence, partnership, and the execution required to make something new and complex real. More than a product story, this was about what it takes to move an idea from possibility to a capability that an organization can use at scale.
05
Seeing the product through the reality of your customers
Oracle Design Week · Oracle Design community · 2025
I brought the Redwood journey to life through candid customer vignettes — real stories, voices, and environments showing how the experience actually lands: what customers love, where they struggle, and where the realities of their work reveal opportunities to do better. Rather than interpreting the experience for them, we let customers show us the difference between the product we envisioned and the experience they actually had.
06
How to leverage data for strategic decision-making
Oracle Propel · USA, December 2024 · India, February 2025
How do you move from having product data to knowing what to do with it? Using practical examples, I explored understanding data signals across three areas: usage and adoption, context of use, and friction in task outcomes. The goal is to move beyond dashboards that inform to data that drives concrete product and engagement decisions.
07
What builds trust, what breaks it, and how do we measure it?
California College of the Arts · Design students · October 2019
I explored what trust means in the context of AI and why it becomes increasingly consequential as technology takes on greater responsibility. Using real-world UX patterns, I examined where trust is built, where it is broken, and the design choices that contribute to each — concluding with practical guidelines for designing and measuring trust.
08
Turning an overlooked audience into a new product opportunity
Microsoft Design Week · Microsoft Design community, 1,000+ · June 2017
How identifying frontline workers as a significant but underserved audience led to a new product and business opportunity — from uncovering needs fundamentally different from traditional information workers, to making the investment case and incubating the product that became Microsoft StaffHub.
09
Finding and incubating new opportunities inside an established business
University of Michigan · Ross School of Business · Spring 2017
Using Microsoft’s frontline workforce and small-business opportunities as case studies, I shared an approach to growth that starts by looking beyond the audiences you already serve. The framework explored finding underserved audiences at the periphery of your existing addressable market; understanding where existing technology and distribution channels create natural momentum to win; weighing new monetization against adoption, retention, and renewal of existing SKUs; translating human insight into an investment case; and incubating the opportunity before attempting to scale it.
